What is a reasonable enough price for solar panels to power a large number of condominiums and other buildings?
I'm doing a project school and we need ways to be green. I have the power of a retirement community in Florida. I have 15 large condominiums, 3 houses to the sea, 3 restaurnats, a pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, supermarket, gas station, and various offices. They have no power, but all that I want to be as green as possible. Perhaps even more tips on how to go green well.
I would look at this in a society different approch. 1. is that it is thriving, let me start using PV on houses in combination with a pair of small peak mounted wind turbines (sources oynot.com, solardyne.com, sunwize.com and so on). 2. building are different. usually have flat roofs, so that the turbines would not be questioned, and so would be PV. Instead I use hard mount panals solar, energy efficiency and seek to in other areas of the building. 3. pool is easy. Have your say in Florida, unless you want to cool it in summer and warm in winter, so just run the water through a capacitor that is located in a loop solar hot water. and the same answers apply to all. ans But the best thing is to think before you build, build with the environment surroundings, and the plan for the construction to be wise.
