Frog Alphabet

Teaching 3-year-old ABC and 123's?
I am having problems teaching my son 3 years, his alphabet and numbers. First of all, because I know that People love to comment on push your children to learn, my son is interested in learning, but he seems to have a difficult time to remember anything. LeapFrog has a little 'frog singing the alphabet song that you hear over and over and a refrigerator magnet toy LeapFrog where you put the letter and passes through a song saying that the sound letter makes. I tried to teach him his alphabet, but I can not remember anything. The same with his numbers. I can convince him to say the numbers, but hates the number 2 for some reason and everything is always 3. I count several things with him .. 5 truck … and then ask him to count how many trucks and is always 3. I am at a loss what to do. Has anyone any ideas on ways other than going to teach him this stuff? Thank you!
Does he know the alphabet song? If not what is good. Success begins with the letters in his name. Children, like the letters that mean something to them instead of being random. Let me start with a piece of paper with his name on it and then You Can say his name and then spell and then they spell with you. For example the name of my son Blake is so magic for me then I wonder what else starts with B and he usually says something like bat or ball. Then I have my suggestions What else starts with that letter. You can also write these down so you can see the letters. Then you can go for the rest of his name, your name, and other names you know. Do not worry about him really learning, because he will get at the right time is now more on repitition. As for the numbers I want to start with the job only for the numbers 1-3 before. Every time you take a toy you can say that here is 1 toy. Then take out 2 and say that. Even a great time to work on numbers is at snack. You can do it however, where many goldfish you can count that may have and do it with everything else you can think of too. He get the hang of it. I worked as a Kindergarten Teacher, four years older than 4 years and 5 years need to recognize letters and 10 numbers in order for the level of mastery.
