Do long HDMI cables, about 5 meters long, losing the quality of sound or pic?

I want to buy a long cable that connects MI HD from my projector to my amp, my projector and amp are far apart, so there is no recommended HD-MI cables? I have also heard of fiber optic cable HD-MI, which all the about?

Wait a second … Early HDMI cables were found to have 'problems of cross-talk' in the bundle of wires when the length of the wire obtained approximately 15 feet (5 meters). They found that the construction of the cable with wire thickness of the internal diameter and a better insulation between the wires to solve the problem.
